Timeless (Elisa Columpio II)
The artist Salustiano, born in Seville, has been showing
his work for many years in museums, art galleries a international
art fairs around the world.
He works exclusively with three elements - the human figure, a plain background and a format. A great deal of advertising is directly inspired by classical religious art. As an artist, Salustiano deliberately positions himself on “the bright side” of art. Pure pigments and highly refined technique coexists with a treatment of perspective that takes us back to the Flemish art of the 15th and 16th centuries, where the character appears in a composition that requires logic and the calculation of each movement is inevitably mathematical.
Throughout these years, Salustiano has been on the covers of magazines and specialized press. Numerous cultural and political personalities have works by Salustiano in their collections. His suggestive conception of sublime beauty has seduced prestigious collectors.
